Emma Hanney
Assistant Principal
Emma Hanney was born in Bradford and has lived in West Yorkshire all her life. Emma did her BA Theology with QTS at Trinity and All Saints in Leeds. After graduating in 2006 Emma started her teaching career at Dixons Marchbank Primary. She has worked mainly in Key Stage 1 as a year 1 and 2 teacher. Since starting at the school, Emma has progressed to a member of the Senior Leadership Team were she is now an Assistant Principal responsible for Early Years and key Stage 1.
Emma is passionate about teaching and ensuring all pupils make fantastic progress. She has enjoyed watching families and children blossom throughout her time at Dixons Marchbank Primary.
In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family and two children as well as having free time visiting the theatre.
