British Science Week
Posted 26th March 2024
Students at Dixons Marchbank have been taking part in British Science Week, celebrating STEM subjects and enjoying a wide range of experiments and investigations.
From understanding what makes a fair test in Year 1, designing time pendulums in Year 3, creating vortexes in mini tornados in Year 5, to the great egg drop challenge in Year 6, students have deepened their understanding in science.
Students have also enjoyed talks from pharmacist technicians, a biomedical scientist, a civil engineer and members of Bradford Council recycling team. All very inspiring for our young people.
